On Monday, November 11, the 7th and 8th grade A and B teams traveled to the Reeves County Recreational Center for their home game against the Andrews Mustangs. The Lady Eagles showed their skills, thanks to the coaching from Vanessa Pena, Jared Mondragon, Kailey Dominguez, and Priscilla Ramirez.
According to Coach Kailey Dominguez, āOverall, we played well. By halftime, we were tied, which speaks to the teamās effort and resilience. Even though two players got hurt, Iām proud of how weāre adjusting, especially since this team was in 6th grade last year. The way weāre coming together is impressive, and itās exciting to see the progress weāre making. Itās rewarding to work with these athletes and help them grow.
The change to playing at the Rec Center is an adjustment, but itās a step forward. Change can be challenging, but itās also a sign of progress, bringing us closer to our new school. Weāll stay focused on making the best of it and continuing to grow as a team."
We're excited to announce that the Lady Eagles are scheduled to face the Fort Stockton Panthers next on Monday, November 18. Go Eagles! šŖ
