Crockett Middle School 2024-25 PTO

After several years without a Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), Crockett Middle School (CMS) is excited to announce the re-establishment of its PTO, spearheaded by a dedicated group of community-minded individuals. This revitalized organization aims to support the school through volunteerism, fundraising, and fostering a collaborative environment between parents, teachers, and students.

The new PTO is committed to enhancing the educational experience at CMS by providing resources and support for various school initiatives. One of their key projects this year is assisting with the upcoming ELAR Book Fair, an annual event organized by the Reading department that encourages a love for literature among students.

Under the leadership of an enthusiastic administration team—David Credille, Amber Godby, Patrick Sluga, Dr. Tiffany Grimes, and Amy Salgado—the PTO is poised to make a significant impact at CMS. Vice President Pauline Ramirez expresses the organization’s mission succinctly: “PTO is here to help appreciate teachers, assist with celebrations, and bring the community and school together.”

The inaugural event for the newly formed PTO took place during CMS’s Open House. Members set up welcoming spaces, greeted parents, and actively recruited new members, making a positive first impression in the CMS community.

The 2024-25 PTO members are excited to take on their roles and contribute to the school’s vibrant community. The leadership team includes:

  • Heather Adams - President

  • Pauline Ramirez - Vice President

  • Donna Pena - Secretary

  • Nestor Mendoza Jr. - Treasurer

  • Marisa Florez

  • Tracey Fuentes

  • Angelica Ontiveros

  • Michelle Dearth Gomez

With a focus on collaboration and community engagement, the new PTO at Crockett Middle School is ready to enrich the school experience for students and support the hard-working educators dedicated to their success. As they prepare for their upcoming initiatives, the PTO looks forward to making a lasting difference at CMS and invites all parents and community members to join in their efforts. Together, they can create a nurturing and dynamic environment for all.
