Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD (PBTISD) proudly recognizes 20 outstanding educators who have earned designations through the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program. These educators have demonstrated exceptional impact in the classroom, earning one of three prestigious designations: Recognized, Exemplary, or Master.
The Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment was established to reward highly effective teachers and retain top talent in the classroom. Educators who earn a TIA designation receive financial incentives while helping advance student achievement across the district.
"We are incredibly proud of these educators for their hard work and commitment to student success," said Superintendent Brent Jaco. "Their dedication, expertise, and passion for teaching are evident in the impact they have on our students every day. This recognition is a well-deserved honor, and we are grateful to have such exceptional teachers leading our classrooms."

PBTISD remains committed to elevating the teaching profession, investing in educator growth, and ensuring students receive the highest quality education. The district continues to support its teachers in achieving TIA designations by providing professional development opportunities, mentorship programs, and resources to enhance classroom instruction.
