During the November 27  regular board meeting, the PBTISD Board of Trustees passed a resolution to award eligible PBTISD employees a 3% one-time incentive payment.

The resolution, passed with unanimous support from the Board, provides a three percent (3%) incentive based on the average teacher salary outlined on the '23-'24 Teacher Salary Schedule for teachers and three percent (3%) at the midpoint job classification for all other eligible employees.

"This incentive payment is a testament to our commitment to recognizing the hard work and dedication of our exceptional staff,” said Superintendent Brent Jaco. “It reflects our appreciation for their tireless efforts in ensuring the success and growth of our students."

The district currently has over 500 full-time employees. Staff at PBTISD can look forward to receiving this payment in December before the holiday break.

“We are confident that this investment in our staff will yield positive returns for our district and community," said Board President AlexAndrea Zamarripa.

PBTISD and the Board of Trustees are dedicated to fostering an environment that values and recognizes its staff's contributions, ensuring the district's continued success and excellence.
