Dear Eagle Nation,

As we gather around the table this Thanksgiving, I am deeply appreciative of the incredible Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD community.

My wife Maria and I have decided to embark on a unique adventure this holiday season. We're taking a break from the hustle and bustle and immersing ourselves in the natural wonders of Guadalupe National Park to Big Bend State Park. Camping under the vast sky, surrounded by the landscape's rugged beauty, provides a special backdrop for reflection and connection.

Thanksgiving is a time to pause and acknowledge the collective efforts that make our school district thrive. From the dedicated educators shaping young minds to the supportive parents fostering a love for learning at home, each of you plays a vital role in the success of PBTISD!

I am grateful for the passion and commitment that permeate our community, creating an environment where students can flourish. Together, we've built a foundation for academic excellence and a nurturing space for personal growth.

As we take this moment to appreciate the blessings in our lives, let's also celebrate the strength of our PBTISD family. May your Thanksgiving be filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished moments with loved ones.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Brent Jaco
