The salaries listed above are based on the minimum starting salary and are commensurate based on years of experience. Salary plans are determined annually, and salary advancement is not guaranteed. Pay increases are based on the annual pay raise budget approved by the Board of Trustees

Daycare Services

PBTISD is proud to offer daycare service to our staff members with small children! The PBTISD Discovery School services ages 6 weeks to 4 years old and is a certified daycare center. To learn more visit our Discovery School page.

Staff Housing

PBTISD has over 100 housing units ready for teachers to call home! The district offers 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units. Additionally, we just opened a NEW apartment complex just a few blocks from Zavala Elementary. Utilities are included with rent and staff can expect the following prices:

  • $725 for 1 bedroom

  • $925 for 2 bedroom

  • $1050 for 3 bedroom
